Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL), a company promoted by Government of Gujarat, has successfully hosted an industrial visit for 24 international delegates participating in the Multimodal Logistics Training at Gati Shakti Viswavidhyalay (GSV), Vadodara. The visit was organized as part of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The delegates, hailing from various countries across Asia, Africa, East Africa, North America, and Central America, witnessed the first-hand advanced multimodal logistics operations at GACL Dahej’s Logistic Park. This visit provided them with valuable insights into the integration of different modes of transportation for efficient supply chain management.
As part of the program, Senior Management Team from GACL delivered special talk on the company’s journey in multimodal logistics, highlighting innovations, best practices, and key milestones in optimizing logistics for the chemical industry.
This capacity-building initiative reflects India’s commitment to sharing knowledge and expertise with partner nations through the ITEC Programme. The collaboration between GSV, MEA, and GACL reinforces India’s role in global skill development, particularly in logistics and supply chain management.
The successful completion of this visit marks another milestone in fostering international cooperation in industrial learning and logistics management.
