GACL Dispatches First Consignment of PAC-30 (Powder) from New Plant at Coelho Complex, Vadodara

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL), one of India’s leading industrial chemical manufacturers, proudly announces the dispatch of the first consignment of Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) – 30 (Powder) from its newly commissioned plant at the Coelho Complex, Vadodara, with an installed capacity of 9,900 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA).

The consignment was flagged off in the august presence of Smt. Avantika Singh, IAS, Managing Director, GACL, marking a significant milestone in GACL’s ongoing commitment to innovation, quality and expanding its footprint in the water treatment segment.

PAC is a vital coagulant used in Municipal and Industrial Potable Water Treatment. Its applications also extend to Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Treatment, Sewage Water Treatment, Industrial Process Slurry Separation, Sizing in Paper & Pulp Industry, Chemical Processes, Textile Industry for Decolourisation & Decontamination of Dyes, among others.

This expansion complements the existing 20,000 MTPA PAC-30 (Powder) capacity at GACL’s Dahej Complex, further strengthening the company’s leadership in the segment. GACL also manufactures multiple grades of PAC in liquid form (PAC-10, PAC-14, and PAC-18).

With this latest addition, GACL’s total consolidated PAC production capacity (powder and liquid combined) now stands at an impressive 1,03,150 MTPA, reaffirming its position as a key supplier of high-performance water treatment chemicals in India and abroad.
