Dr. Rahul Gupta is senior IAS officer of 2004 batch. He has done Bachelor of Commerce and is qualified Chartered Accountant. He has done his Ph.D. in Human Development Index.
He has worked as Collector-Rajkot and as Industries Commissioner, Industries & Mines Department, Government of Gujarat.
He is a Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) since 2022. He is also working as Chairman & Managing Director of Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Limited. He holds Directorships in GVFL Limited and other various Companies.
